Lyrics to Jesus Come — The great romance: Jesus chose us, pursued us, rescued us and took us to His Kingdom as His Bride.
Dear sisters and brothers,
The reason I sent you a link to this webpage is because it is important for you to understand why the February conference is critical for the future of this congregation: it goes to the very core of the mystery of God.
To understand why the sanctity of marriage is so very important to God, one must first understand about The Great Romance.

I also will write a new song. I was once a fairly skilled poet and trained theoretical physicist; I think I can write the lyrics.

Jesus Come.
Your great romance
Which You wrote before all creation;
You make in us a new creation
Which is fit for you.
Jesus come.
You chose us,
You prepare yourself a bride,
An help who is meet for you,
You make us Your body on earth.
Jesus come.
You pursued us.
We had strayed from You;
We could not see the face of our God;
You created this world to bring us back to you:
Jesus come.
You rescued us.
You looked down upon us, lost in our sins;
You saw that we had not a Savior,
You said, "I will go down and I will save them."
Jesus come.
You made Yourself a holy body,
You took onto yourself a body of flesh and blood;
You paid the price of our sins,
You raise us all from death;
You washed our sins away with your very blood.
Jesus come.
You prepared a place for us,
That where you are we may also be;
You return in Glory and take us to be with you;
We wait upon Our God:
Jesus come.
All of creation waits for the day,
When you return for Your body,
For your bride,
For the one who will become one with You.
Jesus come.
You will bring us into You,
as one takes his bride to Himself;
In you we will go with you,
Back to the Holy God:
You will take us into His Holiness.

But Adam had no one to be with him
to be a part of him,
to be one with him.
Adam was alone,
and God said that it was not good to be alone.
The Father made Adam to sleep,
and made Adam into two people,
that Adam might have a person to be with;
Eve was an help who is meet for him.
And God made Adam and Eve become one flesh,
"What God hath joined together ..."
In the beginning You were alone,
there was no one else but you.
You made children,
but there was no one who was an help who is meet for You.
One with You.
You are making a new type of creature in us,
someone who is meet for You.

Jesus come,
take your bride who is prepared for you;
take your bride to the place you have prepared for us,
Bring us to New Jerusalem.
For one thousand years You will live with us,
you will walk with us all day,
every day,
you will grow us into You:
we will become one flesh.
At the end of the 1,000 years,
you will have brought us fully into JESUS,
as You are in us so — so also will your bride be in You:
an help who is meet for You.
Only then will your bride be able to see the face of God,
Your body, your church, the bride of the Living God will have The Mind of Christ.
We will be in Jesus Christ.
You will show us, teach use, make to see and to know:
We will be one glorified body, one flesh,
Your body of which You are the head.
And Christ is in God,
The Lord our God is ONE.
Then you will bring us, your bride, into the Holiest of Holies in heaven;
You will ascend to the throne of the Father,
The creator of heaven and earth,
Where Your presence is Holiness,
To the mercy seat of the only God.
At the end You will have one who is fitting for You.
This is the great romance which was written before the creation of heaven;
which was ordained before You made the host of heaven:
You deemed it to be good before the beginning of time;
This is your pleasure.
You will no longer be alone.
Jesus come.
We are unfinished.
We wait upon our God who is mighty to save.
Who is making in His church a new creature, "one who is meet for Him."
Even so - Jesus come.
