The blood of JESUS Christ - what happened to the blood which He shed on the cross?

The question about The Blood of the Lamb is:

Where is the physical blood which Jesus shed on the cross for us?

A new holy sacrament is commanded to the church of Jesus Christ:

"Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body ... And he said unto them,

This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many ... [Mark 14:]

... this do in remembrance of me." [Luke 22:19]

Why is this important? Because our redemption was not completed until the One Final Passover was fulfilled:

JESUS' body was born.

Jesus fulfilled all of Law and Commandments.

Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies.

Jesus went like a lamb to the slaughter to pay for the wages of our sins: He took our death upon Himself.

Jesus' sacrificed flesh body lay in the earth for three days and three nights.

On the morning of the third day His body was resurrected.

Jesus ascended into Heaven.

Is that all that was required for our Salvation? No, Jesus had not yet fulfilled everything ... because one more thing had to be performed AFTER the resurrection:

The Blood of the Passover Lamb must be taken by the High Priest into the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle in Heaven.

The body of the Passover Lamb (Christ's flesh and bone body which was sacrificed for us),

» was left in the inner court, the flesh of the new covenant was not taken into the Holy of Holies of Heaven.

Only the High Priest could take the Blood of the Lamb into the Holiest of Holies,

» and the resurrected Jesus Christ is the High Priest of the Passover.

I do not know how He did this, how the resurrected High Priest of the Passover bore the Blood of the Lamb into the Holiest of Heaven.

» Apostle Paul hinted at it, but did not explain how this Holiest act in the entire Bible was performed:

Once the old testament was fully completed,

» after High Priest had borne the Blood of the Lamb to the Mercy Seat within the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle of Heaven,

» only then may the new testament begin.

These two holy things are most important: His resurrected flesh body and the blood that He shed on the cross.

He shed His blood on the cross, the Roman soldier pierced His side with a sword [spear] and His blood mingled with water poured out.

Then His dead flesh body was wrapped and laid in a tomb, for three days and three nights.

On the third day His flesh body was resurrected and ascended into heaven.

But where is The Blood of The Lamb today?

Where is the blood which taketh away the sins of the world, the blood which cleanses not only this world but also heaven itself ... where is His blood today?

We believe that the flesh body which died on the cross was resurrected and ascended into heaven.

But I have never heard a sermon about His blood.

Is HIS BLOOD not as important as this resurrected and glorified body?

Of course not, because the Blood of the Lamb is the most important part of the Passover.

Jesus had to fulfill all of the law and the prophets — but it did not end on the cross.

There was one more thing which He had to do, that every jot and tittle be fulfilled before our salvation is complete:

but He had to fulfill this one last thing AFTER his resurrection.

Let us talk about What Happened to His Blood?

Did His blood fall to the ground and become corrupted and decomposed and eaten by worms?

What do you think happened to His blood that He shed on the cross?

What does the Bible say happened to the blood that Jesus shed on the cross?

Consider that:

All that Moses wrote in the law was an image of what he was shown in Heaven during the forty days on Mount Sinai.

Reference: " ... as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: See , saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." [Hebrews 8:5]

The shape and size and design of the Tabernacle of God which was an image of the Tabernacle in Heaven.

In the center of the Tabernacle of God was the Holy of Holies.

The Holy of Holies was shrouded by a veil from the Inner Court.

Within the Holy of Holies was the Ark of the Covenant which contained

~ the two stone tablets from Mount Sinai containing the Ten Commandments,

~ Aaron's rod that budded before the Pharaoh

~ and the golden pot that had Manna from Heaven.

On either side of the Ark of the Covenant were the two Cherubims.

The Mercy Seat of God was above the Ark of the Covenant and beneath the wings of the two Cherubims.

Consider too that: All creation points to Jesus Christ, it is why God made this universe.

Everything that God does points to Jesus Christ.

Every statute and commandment in The Law and The Prophets is a foreshadowing of the that which taketh away the sins of the world, and makes heaven itself clean again.

Consider that there are only three great holy days in the Law and the Prophets: Moses proscribed three great holy feast days each year, when all Israel must gather at the Tabernacle of God:

» The first Holy Day: The feast of the Passover — which was a foreshadowing of The Crucifixion of JESUS Christ,

» The second Holy Day: The feast of Weeks — which was a foreshadowing of The Pentecost, and

» The third Holy Day: The feast of the Tabernacles — which is a foreshadowing of when Jesus returns in glory to rule the earth with all those who are part of the First Resurrection (those whose names are written the Lamb's Book of Life, because they died bearing The Testimony of Jesus Christ).

The Passover. This is the most holy day of the year, and the most holy work as commanded by The Holy One of Israel to Moses:

On the Passover, a single lamb without spot nor blemish is sacrificed for the atonement of all the sins of His people.

Only the High Priest may collect the Blood of the Lamb, in a sanctified vessel.

No other person may touch the vessel containing the blood of the Passover lamb except the High Priest.

If the law is not followed exactly as Moses proscribed, then the Passover sacrifice is polluted.

Only on the Day of the Passover.

Only the High Priest.

Only while bearing the Blood of the Passover Lamb.

"... Seeing that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens ... " [Hebrews 4:14]

"... So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten you ... Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchisidec." [Hebrews 5:5-6]

During the Passover one single lamb ... without spot nor blemish ... was sacrificed as an atonement for the sins of Israel during the previous year.

The lamb was slain and the Blood of the Lamb was collected.

The blood of the lamb was collected in a reserved, holy vessel as proscribed by Moses, it was sanctified and pure and none other than the High Priest could touch it.

That vessel could only be used once, on the Passover to collect the Blood of the Lamb.

Only the High Priest could handle the vessel containing the Blood of the Lamb - if it touched anyone or anything else then the sacrifice was polluted and corrupted - the Blood of the Lamb would not atone for the sins of Israel.

The High Priest bearing the Blood of the Lamb would enter through the Veil into the Holy of Holies — this was the only time that any person could approach the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies.

The High Priest would sprinkle the Blood of the Lamb on the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies, and the sins of Israel would be atoned for that year.

Until the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies and presented the Blood of the Lamb to the Mercy Seat, there was no atonement for the sins of Israel.

Yes: The the sins of Israel had been paid for by the sacrifice of the Passover lamb.

But no: That payment of sins Did Not Apply to Israel until The Blood of the Lamb was presented to the mercy set of the Father within the Holiest of Holies.

Remember that Jesus had to fulfill all of the Law and the Commandments, all the Prophets and Statutes.

But one fulfillment remained to be fulfilled after His resurrection: that of the High Priest of the Passover.

On the morning of His resurrection he was met by Mary.

He admonished her, commanding "Touch me not for I have not yet ascended to The Father; but I ascend to The Father; tell my disciples that I will meet them tonight in Galilee."

If Mary had touched Jesus, who was then performing the final act of the High Priest of the Passover, then the sacrifice would have been corrupted.

First, as the High Priest, Jesus had to:

~ enter the Holy of Holies in heaven — to present before the Throne of The Holy One of Israel, the Mighty God and Everlasting Father,

~ while bearing the Blood of the Lamb — the very blood which He shed on the cross,

~ as an everlasting, new testament before The Creator and all the Host of Heaven that the wages of Our Sins had been paid.

How certain is our Salvation?

Today the Blood of the Lamb ... the physical blood which JESUS shed on the cross ... REMAINS before the Eternal God as a witness that He has surely redeemed us.

For the Blood of the Lamb which He shed on the cross, which taketh away the sins of the world, also makes clean both Heaven and Earth — for Heaven itself was not found to be perfect.

Apostle Paul spoke about this final act which Jesus had to perform as The High Priest of The Passover — in order that all the laws and commandments, the words of the prophets and seers, be fulfilled.

Many years ago my mentor in Christ taught me about His Blood, the actual physical blood that He shed on the cross that taketh away the sins of the world, the Blood of the Lamb that makes both Heaven and Earth clean, the price of our redemption.

But I have never heard a single sermon or message or word in any denominational gathering of the saints about what happened to the Blood of the Lamb.

I only want to know, Why not? Why do we not learn in church about the Blood of the Lamb?

Here is a good scripture upon which to base a message:

The first covenant, in the first tabernacle: which was a foreshadowing the new covenant of God.

The first tabernacle - of the first testament:

"For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary."

"And after the second vail, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

"Which had the golden censor, and the ark of the covenant overlaid roundabout with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

"And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly."

The outer sanctuary:

"Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. [Hebrews 9:2-6]

The Holiest of all:

"But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

"The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

"Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

"Which stood only in meats and drinks, and diver washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed upon them until the time of reformation." [Hebrews 9:7-10]

Notice that the above scripture referred to the first of the three times per year that all the people were commanded to gather before the Lord:

The Passover.

There is no conflict or disagreement about The Passover:

— the first foreshadowing of the Passover in the Bible:

— the second Passover in Egypt, when the blood of the lamb was put on the doorframes of the people of Israel; causing the destroying Angel of God to Passover them when he was slaying the firstborn.

— the annual feast of the Passover,

* when the Flesh BODY of the Passover lamb was left without in the sanctuary,

* and only the high priest would enter into the Holiest of All [aka "The Holiest of Holies"]

* carrying only the Blood of the Passover Lamb into the Holy of Holies ...

Think about it:

— If the Blood of the Passover Lamb was the only sacrament which was taken into the Holiest of all,

* and if the Flesh Body of the Passover Lamb was left in the sanctuary outside the Holiest of all;

— And if the resurrected and glorified body of Jesus Christ, the flesh body which was sacrificed on the cross,

* is one part of the two-part, only sacramental ritual of the Christian church, the communion (aka 'Eucharist');

— Then why is the Blood of the Passover Lamb largely ignored by the clergy?

Here is the message which should be told to the church of Jesus Christ:

The new covenant - of the new testament of God ... and the one true Passover which was foreshadowed in the scripture from the time of Abel the son of Adam the son of God;

* which Passover was fulfilled exactly ONCE for all time;

* it is not the flesh body of the Passover lamb which takes away sins, or which makes even Heaven itself clean;

* it is the Blood of The Lamb which taketh away the sins of the world.

Apostle Paul wrote about Jesus Christ performing the final fulfillment of all the law and the prophets:

"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by hands, that is to say, not of this building ... by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." [Hebrews 9:10-11]

I know that Apostle Paul did not (could not?) explain exactly in detail what Jesus Christ did with His Blood.

This is what I was taught about the Blood of Jesus that He shed on the cross;

— taught by my mentor in Christ almost forty years ago,

— who was a "fulfilled Jew" (her own words),

— who was an anointed evangelist, teacher and prophetess (I believe an apostle).

That the resurrected Jesus Christ;

— immediately after He was raised from the dead and exited the tomb;

— after telling Mary "Touch me not for I have not yet ascended unto the Father"

— and telling Mary "I ascend to the Father" [in the immediate tense: "NOW ASCEND"]

— ascended to the seventh heaven, to the Mercy Seat of the Almighty God.

In heaven the resurrected and glorified Jesus Christ fulfilled the final prophecy and law regarding the Messiah:

— As the only HIGH PRIEST of the Passover

— He bore the Blood of the Lamb,

— to the Mercy Seat of the Eternal Father,

— where The Blood of the Lamb remains forever as witness to the blood of the new testament:

I have paid for all of your sins, they are paid for; I have redeemed with my own blood the price of your salvation; and I have surely saved you and returned you to The Father.

That is how certain is our salvation by the Almighty God, the Everlasting Father and The Prince of Peace.

Now, about that sermon that I would like to hear at least once before I die.

If a person who is giving a message or sermon to the congregation of the saints wished to perform the function of a prophet:

"He that prophecies speaks unto men words of edification, exhortation and comfort."

Then I believe that this message would be a good place to start:

Is there anything which is more edifying, exhorting or comforting than the knowledge that the Blood of the Lamb is in the Holiest of Holies in Heaven ... sealing our eternal life and salvation?

I know that, if the speaker/evangelist/teacher/pastor will start with

the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension into heaven of JESUS;

and will tell us about the Blood of the Lamb,

then the Holy Ghost will give him or her the words to finish the greatest sermon that person ever told.

Until that sermon I wait, we all wait, upon the day when His servants tell His children about the certainty of their salvation ... about the Blood of the Lamb in the Holiest of All in the Tabernacle in Heaven.
