The Sunday morning service 27 May, 2018 at the First Assembly of God, Delphi, Indiana.
Something happened during this service ...
The Lord moved ... but I do not believe that His message was delivered.
We were gathered together in the name of Jesus Christ this Sunday morning in the sanctuary of the First Assembly of God building in Delphi, Indiana ... and He did come amongst us — but I do not believe that He was allowed to say to us what He wanted to say.

Here is a brief summary of the topic of that day's service  ...
During this service the message was delivered by a guest pastor. He was an administrator of a substance abuse rehabilitation organization in Indiana, he was filling in for the person with that organization who would normally perform this function. He said that he had prayed, asking God what he should present that day, and that he felt led to teach about the man with a spirit of infirmity for 38 years. The man was at the pool at the Sheep Gate, hoping to be healed.
When Jesus passed the man at the pool He asked him, "Wilt thou be made whole?" [John 5:1-15, KJV]
The message that the guest speaker stressed on this Sunday service was that the man replied to JESUS with a list of excuses: "I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me."
The entire sermon that day was based entirely upon this event: making excuses.

Here is what happened at this Sunday service ...
During the sermon the guest speaker spoke in an unknown tongue.
When this happened I immediately looked towards the pastor of the congregation, to see whether he noticed and to see if there was an interpretation of the words which the guest speaker spoke.
As it is written, whenever one speaks in an unknown tongue to the congregation there must be an interpretation of the tongues — that all things be done decently and in order.
There was no interpretation of the words spoken in an unknown tongue, which greatly surprised me.
I believe that there was at least one person who was present to whom God had given the interpretation, one who when they heard the words being spoken understood what was said.
Why do I know that there was an interpretation of the unknown tongue? Because it is written [I COR 14:26-33]:
{26} How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
{27} If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two or three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
{28} But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
{29} Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
{30} If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
{31} For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
{32} And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
{33} For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

I do not wish to offend, but God is not the author of confusion ...
Perhaps no other person in the assembly that day was confused by the sudden and unexpected speaking of tongues without an interpretation.
But I was, if not confused, then certainly disappointed that there was no interpretation of the unknown tongue. I was greatly troubled.
During the service I waited for one to interpret the speaking in an unknown tongue, but it did not happen.
After the service I waited in the sanctuary, and then in the foyer ... expecting that one would deliver the understanding of what was spoken in an unknown tongue.
While driving home after the service, God answered my confusion regarding the less-than-complete message that was delivered that day.
He spoke to me by the Gift of the Word of Knowledge.
Below is what I received from Him, which I believe should have been interpreted by the Gift of the Holy Ghost the Interpretation of Unknown Tongues.
Here is what I understand should have been the message which was drawn from this scripture ...
After the man at the pool presented his list of excuses ...
JESUS ignored his excuses and never mentioned the excuses,
JESUS did not correct or rebuke the man for making excuses,
JESUS did not waste one single idle word on the topic of "excuses."
This is in fact what Jesus DID do and say ...
He said, "Rise, take up thy bed and walk."
Immediately the man picked up his bed and walked.
Period.
What happened? What should have been the entire message drawn from this scripture?
Our excuses do NOT matter!
God is NOT limited by our weaknesses.
We do NOT rely upon our faith.
Rather we ONLY rely upon HIS faith ... we know that He is faithful to perform what He has said that He will do.
Rather, what we must do in order to obtain the blessings of the Holy God are threefold:
1. Hear God.
2. Believe God.
3. Obey God.
That's it.
That's all that is required of us, in order for us to receive our healings and all of the gifts of God.
Here are the simple FACTS: The man with an infirmity for thirty eight years, with a bucket full of excuses ...
1. Heard Jesus,
2. Believed Jesus,
3. and obeyed Jesus,
= he received his healing from God.

This is important!
   Abraham believed God.
+ Abraham obeyed God.
= Therefore Abraham's faithfulness was accounted unto him for righteousness.
Please remember that Abraham did not fulfill the requirements specified in "the Roman road."
That Abraham did not "believe in his heart that God had raised Him from the dead," — because Jesus had not yet been raised from the dead;
And that Abraham did not "confess with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord," — because Jesus had not yet been born and had not yet been anointed;
Still Abraham's faithfulness was accounted unto him for righteousness.
Also notice that Abraham did not fulfill what Peter said we must do in order to be saved in Acts 2:38.
Abraham did not "Repent, and be baptized ... in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,"
Abraham did not "... receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Yet his faithfulness was accounted unto him for righteousness.

Please help me to understand ...
1. Did I miss something?
Was there an interpretation of the unknown tongue?
Did not the guest speaker specifically pray to God asking Him, "Lord I want  to ... deliver something ... that You want them to hear."
Did not somebody receive an interpretation of tongues which were spoken, and I missed it?
I downloaded from Vimeo the service this day in its entirety.
I pored through every single word which was spoken that day.
Unfortunately, the part of that day's sermon during which the guest speaker had suddenly and unexpectedly spoken in an unknown tongue had been edited out of the version which had been uploadrd to Vimeo.com.
2. Does God not answer our prayers?
The guest speaker specifically prayed:
"You have orchestrated this from the very beginning of time, this particular time, for me to speak this word at this moment.
"So Father I pray that the ears would hear what Your Spirit is wanting to say.
"For Father I do not want for them just to hear what I have to say; but I want  them to hear from You.
"So Lord I pray that you would anoint this time ..."
And the congregation of the saints agreed all with his prayer in Jesus Christ and said "Amen."
And the Spirit of God answered our prayer.
And the Spirit of God said what He wanted to be said ... but perhaps the speaker had not expected Him to answer our prayer?
The question remains: Where was the interpretation of the utterance of the Holy Spirit of God in an unknown tongue?
Please do not tell me that God is the author of confusion.
Let God's word be true and all men be liars: perhaps it was the guest speaker, and the pastor, and the assembly of God congregation itself which were out of order?
3. Am I mistaken that the message from this scripture which God specifically wanted to be heard that day, and which we specifically asked Him for, should have been:
That our excuses do NOT matter!

Today, the 19th day of October in 2018: I have not yet received an answer to this issue.
Therefore I downloaded from Vimeo that sermon.
I am trying to  find where and when the  guest speaker spoke  in an unknown tongue.
But I have discovered a small problem with the downloaded version of this sermon: the part of the sermon that I am seeking for has been removed from this recording of that sermon.
Below is a summary of the sermon that I downloaded.
At 0:27:40:
"I am Dave Trout, I am the program director ... I am the disciplinarian and the teacher.
" ... if you have your bibles with you turn in them to John Chapter five.
" ... I was asking The Lord what He wants me to bring to you."
At 0:28:28:
" ... I always say, 'Lord I want  to ... hear from You to deliver something that, that this, this, this congregation, that You want them to hear.' I believe in a timely word."
"And The Lord brought me back to a message I have preached a few times in the past.
"You probably have heard this story so many times. I am glad The Lord pretty much gives me messages on stories that everybody seems to know since Sunday School.
"But God did speak to my spirit and tell me to bring this particular message to you.
"So in John chapter five we're going to begin reading in verse one ... but first let's pray.
...
" You have orchestrated this from the very beginning of time, this particular time, for me to speak this word at this moment.
"So Father I pray that the ears would hear what Your Spirit is wanting to say. For Father I do not want for them just to hear what I have to say; but I want  them to hear from You.
"So Lord I pray that you would anoint this time as we open up Your word ... give You thanks in Jesus' name. Amen."
At 0:30:40:
"It says in John chapter five starting in verse one, 'After this there was ...for a long time.' "
"Let's stop."
At 0:56:35:
"Look what Jesus said to this man.
"Verse 8 Jesus said to him, 'Rise. Take up your bed and walk.'
"Thank you New King  James."
At 0:57:39:
"The man did exactly what  Jesus said."
At 1:01:56:
The video abruptly ends.
The recording which had been published on Vimeo had been cut short [edited].
The last several minutes of this sermon had been removed.
Why was it changed?
Why was the part that I was searching for cropped out of the final, published  sermon?
I only want to know why.
I think that I know why, but that is only my expectation based upon my personal understanding.
Perhaps it was an  accident?
Or was it because the recorded sermon ran too long, causing it to exceed the maximum size or duration standards set forth by Vimeo for this account?
Or was it done intentionally, because something happened after 1:01:56 that the First Assembly of God in Delphi, Indiana did not want to make public?
